About us and the HAVANESE!
History
The Havanese is one of the five breeds in the group of dogs known as
Bichons. It is thought that the Havanese were originally breed in the
Mediterranean to be the perfect companion dog.

Many were brought to Cuba by European merchants,  and given as gifts to
the aristocracy to encourage them to purchase merchandise. Because of
the Havanese characteristics, and personalities, plus their love of family,
especially the children, the Havanese became so popular that they became
the national dog of Cuba.

Characteristics
Havanese are truly are a BIG dog in a little package!
Little dynamos, Havanese are a wonderful
addition to their new homes, with their outgoing and sweet personalities,
their intelligence, and their loving dispositions. Non -shedding, and with
very little dander, Havs are a perfect choice for those with allergies. Great
with children and other pets, they fulfill their original function as a
perfect family companion.

About Us
Placement of our puppies in homes where they will be an important part
of their new household is one of our highest priorities. We make every
effort to match our occasional puppies and their new families.
Located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you are welcome to visit with us.
For our puppies going out of the area to their new homes, they are
carried onboard airport to airport for personal delivery. They are NEVER
transported in cargo! Our puppies have handled their travels very well.
We gladly provide information about the Havanese breed, and inquiries
are invited regarding our available puppies and occasional adults.

References from our happy Be DoHav families are gladly provided.
Our grateful thanks to Linda and Lois of Twins Havanese, breeders and
exhibitors for years, for their  kind support and wealth of information.
